hi it was carl barat that destroyed the libertines carl was jelous of how the fans used to shout pete pete before they came on stage pete doherty did screw up yeah because of drugs but carl saw it as an oppertunity to get pete out so that the libertines was his but they still shouted pete so it was a failure and the babyshambels havent been a failure pete didnt write all the babyshambels song to sell records it was to tell his die hard fans how he feels its for him to open his heart carls was kind of the same but also aimed at selling reconds

the libertines was the perfect sincronization btween music and rhythm so when the libertines tear apart dirty pretty things do what they do best.. the rhythm though their lyrics r not dat gd... =p bt in lyrics and meanings babyshambles r the best!! so i think both bands r gd but not as good as the libertines used to be!! they just ruled!!
